Halo Sleepsack-Great product for baby

I have been wanting to mention a great product that I have been using for my son--the Halo Sleepsack by Halo Innovations.  This is a wonderful product that helps prevent the risk of Sudden Infant Death (SIDS).  It is a wearable blanket, available in different sizes, colors, patterns and materials including cotton and fleece.  It is even available in toddler sizes.  The Sleepsack goes on over a sleeper in place of a loose blanket. 

Available at major and specialty retailers including The Right Start, Target, and Babies-R-Us for approximately $25.00.

Testing out a new photoscanning service--Scancafe.com I read about ScanCafe in O Magazine, and was curious to check it out. It is relatively new service that scans your photo negatives, slides, and more at great prices. I had previously looked into scanning some of my old slides and negatives at a local shop, but it was too expensive to do more than a few at a resolution good enough to make prints (if I was just interested in viewing the pictures on the computer it would have been okay). Kapok Tree Inn--great Florida memory Does anyone out there remember the days of the Kapok Tree Inn? There were two that I know of....one in Ft. Launderdale that my family and I visited and one in Clearwater that my husband's family went to. While our parents may have thought of it as another 70's tourist trap, for us kids it was a magical place, a palace where peacocks roamed the lawns and dinner was served in one of many fancifully decorated dining rooms.
